Through Bette Davis Eyes

I have dreams. I intend to reach them. I just need to figure them out first.

Oh, and Christian Bale is also in it. NICE. My physics teacher looks a lot like him. We like physics. A LOT.

I am trying desperately not to turn this into a Gone With The Wind blog, but it’s hard, as I just read it over the holiday and I’m still amazed and captivated by it. I can only hope that my Rhett is out there, because he’s always been the perfect man for me, even before I’ve even seen the movie, and that was years ago. I am not the kind of girl that wants to have a boyfriend no matter what, I have always been waiting for a great person, the kind that is not swooning for me but loves me with such a power that I can feel it and… Well isn’t that Rhett? :P But, as I said, I am NOT writing all of my first posts on GWTW, instead I’ll write about the movie I’m watching right now. It’s Little Women, and when I got it, I thought it was the Katherine Hepburn version, but now I see it’s the one with Claire Danes and Kirsten Dunst. Well, whatever, I’ll still watch it.

Scarlett! Look at me! I’ve loved you more than I’ve ever loved any woman and I’ve waited for you longer than I’ve ever waited for any woman. - Rhett Butler - she swooned…

Okay, so I just found this and I was (and still am) like WTF?! WHY didn’t I know of this?! I LOVE Gone with the Wind, it’s the best book and the most amazing movie ever, but I don’t have any posters of it. I have a wallpaper (just like this one, in a black frame) of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which is above my bed, and then one with Rick’s Café Americain in it, you know, the one where Rick is standing in front of it, and one of Marilyn Monroe. But this one? I NEED TO HAVE IT.

Hello there!

I’m starting this blog with high hopes. Okay, that’s not true. I’m starting it because it’s a Saturday night and I’m bored. I should be studying calculus, but that’s not gonna happen now, is it? I’m really impressed with the nice surface of tumblr. Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Yes, how’d you guess, I’m a huge fan of the studio era, I am trying to watch as many movies from that period as I can. It kinda makes my heart ache though, because it makes me feel like I was born at the wrong end of the century. Okay, so now I’m going to try out this tumblr thingy and post all kinds of stuff from those movies, just to test it. First off, a picture, I think. :)
